Floral Elegance is a nationally recognized 4x award winning florist, with a passion for details and commitment to excellence, we believe that the little things really do matter and that no two weddings are the same. Therefore, most weddings are customized to your need and vision. We service New Mexico and beyond, with our home base in Bernalillo, NM.
It is our goal as a team to provide you and your guests with the ultimate experience... from intimate elopements to grand soiree's we are here to bring your vision to life with full service luxury floral & design for couples who live the high life!

Face behind the brand
Hello! I am Crystal Gonzales-Hernandez, the founder and lead designer at Floral Elegance... a full service luxury wedding florist & event designer, or as I prefer to call myself... an artist. Above all I am a mother, wife, grandmother, daughter and sister.
My love for flowers started at a young age when my great-grandmother (who raised me) and I would garden and cut blooms to arrange and place on our kitchen table. My appreciation for the process from seedling to display was always something I was aware of. Like most young girls I loved all things weddings and it was my dream was to become a wedding planner (or FBI agent)!
After nearly a decade in the medical field, I rediscover my niche after walking away from my career to care for my ill grandparents. During that time, I would create floral arrangements for family, friends, and members of my community. I found myself to be taking orders on a daily basis and I had no clue at the time, that I was turning my hobby into a business and was launching Floral Elegance and that we would now be a 4x award winning florist and one of NM's top wedding florist!

Professional Achievements
Mentorships and Training
I am excited to be a part of David Tutera's Mentorship program where the focus is executing luxury events. In addition, I am fortunate to have been chosen by Wedding Pro, the parent company for The Knot and Wedding Wire, as a fellow in their 2022 Fellowship for Change Program, where 30 event professionals from across the country are chosen to get mentorship and education from the nations top wedding pros. This opportunity has given me the rare advantage of being able to trained under and work along side some of the worlds top floral & event designers.
Conferences
Wedding MBA, The Floral Encounter Conference, The Big Installation Tour and WedTalks are some of the wedding conferences we have attended which help keep us up-to-date with wedding trends and what is going on in the wedding industry and how it may impact our couples like you.
Stylized Shoots
When we are not busy making wedding dreams come true, you can often catch us participating in a stylized editorial shoot. To date we been a part of over 50 shoots with some of New Mexico's, California's and South Carolina's top wedding pros and I take much pride in the relationships I've build along the away with some of the most amazing creatives in the wedding industry. I believe that if you have a team of vendors that works well together, it is recipe for a seamless and amazing wedding!

We want to know about you!
I enjoy getting to know my couples and I want to know the things that matter to you. I believe in speaking with flowers and that each wedding should should be as unique as the couple. So, the more I know about you as a couple and individually, the easier it will be to tell your story and design for you!
It is important to me that my couples and I can be transparent with one another and I want you to always feel heard. I know all too well the stress that wedding planning can bring, as I too was once in your shoes and I want you to know that I am here for you! Just as I take much pride in the relationships with my vendor friends, same goes for my lovely couples!
